50's
Jupiter International Corporation is a specialized international trading company that strives to provide superior customer service with commitment to enrich the well being of its stakeholders. The company was founded in 1959 by Mr. Narinder Singh Sethi. In the earlier days, the company was specialized in the export of the automotive and motorcycle components produced for vehicles ranging from Honda, Toyota, Nissan and Mitsubishi. Subsequently, the company expanded its export product categories to include construction materials and steel products.
60's
In the late 1960’s, Mr. Sethi began importing Indian handicrafts and other consumer products into Japan and the company became renowned as a pioneer in this field.
70's
In the 1970’s with the advent of Expo ’70 the company boosted its national image and was invited by all the major high end department stores nationwide to hold sales exhibitions of Indian products. Thereafter, Jupiter has expanded its network of customers in Japan, currently serving over 100 customers in Japan totalling over 4000 individual stores.
80's
– present
In the early 1980’s, Mr. Sethi led the company to venture into the real estate business and began building luxury apartments for foreign executives in Japan. Jupiter is currently concentrating in strengthening its traditional trading activities of import and export businesses.
